Beyoncé's third brings it

Beyoncé Knowles, known to most as simply Beyoncé, began her musical career as one of three in the group Destiny's Child. She tested the waters with the successful group Destiny's Child in the late 1990s, and with them released two outrageously successful albums.

It did not take long, however, for Knowles to branch out and start a solo career.

Her first solo album, "Dangerously in Love," along with her second album, "B-Day," quickly became popular.

But, it is her third album in which she truly expresses herself.

"I Am. Sasha Fierce," released in 2008, has chart-topping tracks such as "All the Single Ladies" and "If I Were a Boy."

Knowles produced, wrote and recorded this album.

In the album, the song "I Am" represents Beyoncé Knowles, while "Sasha Fierce," her alter ego, is the more outgoing side of herself, reflected by her stage persona.

In her slightly sappy love ballad, "If I Were A Boy," Knowles tries, from a guy's perspective, to understand why he would treat his girlfriend with disrespect.

In her song "All the Single Ladies," she mocks a previous lover for not staking his claim before she moved on.

"I Am. Sasha Fierce" is by far Knowles' best album, although some of the songs are a touch too dramatic.
