Singer-songwriter Emilie Autumn has achieved worldwide fame in the past few years as a revolutionary violinist. The artist released her first all-instrumental album "Laced Unlaced" in 2007, and now the full-length two disc album is available for download.

Autumn, who has been playing violin since childhood, has honed her skill to create a new genre of music which she calls "Victoriandustrial." Victoriandustrial represents a fusion of classical and industrial music to create a new, broad range of sound. Known for her brightly colored hair and her musical performances wearing frilly dresses and bloomers, Autumn is recognized for more than just her visual appeal.

The Jimi Hendrix of violinists, her violin has an on-board pick-up that allows her to use an amp and distortion pedals to differentiate her sound from other musicians using the classical approach.

Autumn also includes violas and harpsichords to her music, and writes her own lyrics and songs.

The first disc of "Laced Unlaced" is a compilation of classical violin songs including Corelli's "La Folia" and Bach's "Largo" and "Allegro."

The second disc is composed of original, contemporary works by Autumn. "Face the Wall" stands out from the rest of the album. The song, which is almost seven minutes long, includes music ranging from the genres of traditional fiddle music reminiscent of the British Isles to the gritty thrash of heavy metal.

"Laced Unlaced" contains some of the most complex and unique violin solos ever created.

The album is available in it's entirety at www.amazon.com for $8.99. Some tracks from her 2006 release "Opheliac" can be previewed at www.myspace.com/emilieautumn.
