080492 - A complainant came into UTC police department to talk about a theft that occurred in Maclellan Gym.
The complainant told police that on March 18 between 5:30 p.m. and 9 p.m., he was in the gym playing basketball.
He set his Jansen backpack, containing his wallet that had his Regions Visa debit card, 1st Financial credit card and his Illinois driver's license in it, down on the gym floor among several other book bags.
The complainant stated that when he got his wallet from his book bag, he noticed his book bag had been unzipped and his driver's license, Regions debit card and his 1st Financial credit card had been stolen by an unknown person. There was no suspect information at the time of the report.

080502 - Police were dispatched to UTC Place 3000 to investigate a noise violation. Upon arrival police spoke with several students who were present. There were six students, two non-students and a minor in the apartment.
Police recovered a half bottle of pure grain alcohol and a 24 oz. beer. One of the students was found unconscious in the bathtub, covered in vomit.
Police called for an ambulance and the student was taken to Erlanger Hospital. The non-students and the minor were told to leave campus, and if they returned, would be cited for trespassing. A report was made and the officer returned to service.

080537 - Police responded to Johnson Village to make a report of an alleged phone threat to an UTC student. Upon arrival police saw that the complainant was crying and visibly shaken. She told police that someone had called her using a hearing- impaired Internet service in which an operator speaks for a hearing-impaired person who is typing the words to say in real time.
The complainant said that whoever called her stated that he or she knew that the complainant was seeing "my man" and that he or she knew that the complainant was an UTC student.
They also said they knew that her parents lived in Tennessee. The complainant also said that the last thing the voice said was "you're a dead woman."
The complainant advised police that she has no idea who the person is or whether the person is a male or female. She said nothing suspicious or threatening has happened to her around campus, only the phone call.
Police attempted to call the threatening person's number, but the number seemed to only be an outbound extension.
The complainant was advised to log down each time the person calls and what is said during the conversation.
Police advised her that in the meantime, if anything immediate happens around her to call 911.
