Feb. 15, 2008

080290 - At 12:29 a.m. police were dispatched to UTC Place about a narcotic and alcohol violation. Upon arrival, the officer was let in by the resident assistant.

The officer found several people hiding in an unoccupied bedroom, as well as a pipe containing marijuana residue. After talking with all subjects present, one resident told police that she had the marijuana, but everyone had smoked it prior to police arrival. She also told police that the pipe belonged to her.

Police found more than 30 beers and also three juveniles that had been drinking in the apartment. Police contacted the parents of each juvenile and cited the resident that admitted to having everything.



Feb. 15, 2008

080291 - Housing security noticed a strong smell of marijuana coming from a room in Decosimo apartments. Upon entering the room there were multiple parties inside. One resident admitted to smoking marijuana and allowed police to search his room. A marijuana cigarette was found in his top dresser drawer. Five other students were also in the apartment with multiple Natural Light beers and a bottle of rum. All students were advised of housing rules and student affairs procedures.



Feb. 16, 2008

080304 - Housing security heard loud music from a room at 818 University St. Upon entering, several bottles containing Everclear and rum were found. Also, extremely loud music was being played and a small dog was inside the apartment as well.

The residents, who were UTC women's basketball players were apparently hosting a party. Multiple beers were also found in the apartment. All parties were informed of housing regulations and advised that the incident will be turned over to student affairs for disciplinary actions.



Feb. 18, 2008

080317 - At 1:29 a.m. police responded to a report of a liquor law violation at 815 University St. Upon police arrival, a housing security official advised that he heard a loud party while on a routine patrol. After knocking, residents refused to open the door.
