Nov. 14, 2007
071923- UTC police responded to an assault at McClellan Gym.
A woman advised that she was clearing the gymnasium and asking all the students to leave for the evening.
She asked a man more than three times to leave the floor. The suspect became angry, threw the basketball at the woman and hit her in the head. The suspect left the gym and went to the University Center where he fled from sight.

071965- Police responded to Walker apartments on a miscellaneous complaint.
Upon arrival the female student explained of a roommate dilemma that had been going on for a couple of weeks.
The victim said her roommates and she made complaints about the suspect.
They advised that the suspect's boyfriend had been living in the apartment and the relationship was allegedly abusive. There were no signs present of any domestic assault.
The suspect confronted the victim saying, "If you're gonna make my life hell, then I'll make your life hell." The resident director has removed the victim and her roommates to temporary housing and asked the suspect to move.
071970- UTC police received a fire alarm call at Decosimo Apartments.
Police responded to the apartment, knocked on the door but there was no response. While waiting on a housing staff member, a resident of the apartment arrived and allowed police to enter.
A strong odor of marijuana was detected in a bedroom and police overheard several people inside.
Once the occupants realized it was police, they began to file out of the bedroom window.
Police initiated a foot pursuit and apprehended two females.
Police found two smoked marijuana blunts and loose tobacco material during the search of the bedroom.
The two suspects were taken to Hamilton County jail and charged with simple possession of marijuana and evading arrest.

071986- Police responded to a property damage call.
The victim advised that a male friend called her and left threatening messages.
Police listened to the saved message where the suspect was rapping while saying threatening things.
The victim showed police where the suspect kicked on the bedroom doors and put a hole in another door by hitting it with a belt buckle.
The victim said she wants to press charges, but police only have a first name and a description of the suspect in question.

071994- Police observed a dorm room window at one of UTC Place dorms on E. 8th Street open on the bottom floor during the Thanksgiving holiday.
Police investigated further on foot and discovered it to be a vacant room.
Police entered the room through the window and found cigars had been unwrapped and marijuana stems and residue on the desktop.
Police knocked on all the bedroom doors, but no roommates answered.
