UTC lost its third consecutive game by ten or less points this past weekend when they lost at home to Western Carolina, 28-21.

The game was tied with 2:81 when the Hilltoppers intercepted an Antonio Miller pass and were able to drive down the field, picking up 75 yards on the ground to score the deciding touchdown.

On the Mocs' next possession, which they got with 47 seconds left on the clock, Antonio Miller completed five passes to get the Mocs on WKU's 29-yard line, but were unable to get in the endzone for a score.

Erroll Wynn had a good game for Chattanooga, putting up 133 yards on 19 carries. Brian Fitzgerald totaled 81 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries.

Quarterback Antonio Miller finished the game with 163 yards, completing 16-of-28 passes with two interceptions.

The game was back and forth throughout the contest with neither team pulling more than a score ahead of the other.

Western Carolina went on the board first with a 51-yard pass by David Wolke early in the first quarter. UTC answered in the second quarter with a touchdown of their own as Miller kept it on the ground for a score.

The teams traded scores for the rest of the contest, going into halftime tied. After an interception by UTC's Buster Skrine was returned for a touchdown, the Mocs held the lead until WKU scored two unanswered touchdowns in the fourth quarter.

The Mocs will face Wofford at home this Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
