071790- Police responded to a harassment complaint call at 818 University St. Upon arrival, police spoke to a female student who advised them that an ex-boyfriend had been sending threatening test messages and has been following her all over campus.
She showed police the text messages that read: "I hate u! It's my business 2 c u suffer!! When he die and I c u cry I'm going 2 smile. An them I'm going to shot u n da Stomach. An then the face. An then myself." The message was sent on Oct. 29 at 10:29 a.m. A second message was displayed that read, "I told u that u can't treat ppl the way u do!! usin me was wrong I aint got shyt to loose u gon be sorry!"
The female told police she was in fear for her life and wanted to press charges because he lives above her in the same complex. Police took out warrants on the male student.

071806- UTC Police responded to 501 Oak St. in which the caller said a white male had been approaching her whenever he saw her on campus. She said she saw the male wearing a striped polo shirt with short hair and glasses but didn't know his name or where he lived.
The woman told him to leave her alone but said every time he saw her he said something to her. Police told the woman if she saw the male student again, she should call the police.

071810- Police were flagged down on the lot of 718 E 8th St and were advised by a woman that a male student had taken an aggressive stance toward her and started making threatening statements followed by racial slurs.
When police approached the student, he ran from them in the lower-level parking garage at 818 University St. Police caught the student as he was trying to swipe his card to get into the building.
The student was intoxicated and disorderly. He was taken into police custody.

071818- Police responded to a burglary at 801 E 8th St. A female student said she left her apartment at 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 31.
