Dear editor:
I find it very distasteful and partisan to include a guest editorial about Harold Ford Jr. being the "ideal candidate" and also your picture and remarks over Ford being in town.
Bob Corker was in town the same day and also led his volunteers into the early voting location, yet this received no coverage. I think The Echo should not take a side and should be fair and balanced.

Editor's note: The Echo had a guest editorial for each candidate, written by the head of the Campus Democrats and the head of the Campus Republicans and run on Oct. 5 and Oct. 19 respectively.
The Echo has not endorsed either candidate for the upcoming Senate race.
