061891 - Two female students got in to an argument over money. One of the females hit the other female in the mouth with a Samsung cell phone. She then punched the same victim in the left jaw and the nose, then grabbed her and hit her. Upon police arrival, the victim had many bruises and scratches on her neck and arms. Her upper lip had two large gashes. Her lips and jaw were swollen. Police documented the injuries by camera. The suspect was disorderly during the police investigation and she had to be taken to the patrol car. There were two witnesses that confirmed the suspect was the aggressor in the fight. The suspect was then arrested. The witnesses and victim were banned from UTC housing because they were not students. This case was turned over to student affairs and will be handled by the Hamilton County court system.

061894 - The manager of Aramark Food Services reported to police that a male suspect supposedly went through the checkout at the UC cafeteria without paying. The suspect told police that his sister paid for his food. The sister was unable to be found by police, and the suspect identified by Aramark employees fled the area. The cashier told police that no one advised her that they purchased the suspect's food. The suspect had a box of chicken nuggets and a roast beef sandwich. Aramark requested that the incident be turned over to student development.
061899 - Police responded to a weapons violation using a combustible device at 541 Vine St. One of the victims was sitting at a table in the courtyard, talking on his cell phone. The other victim was walking from her apartment to the laundry room. There were two male suspects dressed in dark clothes that were standing at a southeast corner just outside of the courtyard. One of the suspects had a bottle in his hand, which appeared to be water. The seated victim said that the suspect shook the bottle and threw it against the side of the building. When it hit the side of the building, it exploded and sounded like a gun being fired. The other victim started running when she heard the noise, thinking a gun fired. The victim said the two males took off running and he did not get a good look at them.

061920 - Police were walking around UTC Place building 3000 on patrol. They caught a man carrying beer in a plastic cup. When police asked the suspect where he got the beer, the suspect took them to one of the rooms in the building. When police entered the room, they found a bottle of vodka in the freezer and a keg of beer in the bathtub. The three students are being referred to student affairs for having alcohol on campus and underage drinking and four visitors are banned from campus.
