061637 - Officers responded to a liquor law violation at Boling Apartments. Upon arrival, the RA informed police that she had gotten a loud noise complaint from one of the rooms. Officers went to the door of the room and advised the residents that police were present. A male opened the door and told police that there was no one in his apartment. He informed the officers that he had been sleeping. However, police could hear people from inside one of the bedrooms and told them to open the door. When the door was opened, the officers discovered the room was full of people. An officer told everyone to go into the living room, but one student starting cursing at him. According to the police report, the student told the officer to get the f*** out and that he did not have to do a G**d*** thing. He then told the officer to shut up and leave his G**d*** room. Because the suspect would not obey, the officer put him in handcuffs and advised him that he could go to jail for disorderly conduct. The suspect and the male who opened the door started yelling at the officers. The officer informed the male that he was restraining the other student to protect himself and the student, because he was so out of control. At that point, the male sat down and was cooperative from that point on. The off-campus people at the party were banned from housing. Everyone else who did live on campus was referred to student affairs.
