Tuesday, Jan. 24
060160 - Police responded to a complaint from the UC computer lab when a worker contacted police because a person who did not have his student ID was refusing to leave the lab.
Police spoke to the person, and he agreed to leave.
060162 - Police pulled over a vehicle because the driver was operating its sound system at an extremely high volume.
Upon examining the driver's license, the officer determined the license had been revoked. The driver was arrested and taken to the Hamilton County Jail.
060165 - Police responded to the Lockmiller office on a report that a man was asking resident assistants for money. Police advised the man to leave campus, and if he returned to campus, to refrain from asking people for money.
Wednesday, Jan. 25
060168 - Police responded to a UTC Place room on a noise complaint.
At first, the occupants refused to open the door when the officers knocked, but finally opened the door, allowing the officers to enter.
Upon entry, the officers found multiple empty bottles of alcohol. The resident advisor filed a report, and the incident was referred to student affairs.
Thursday, Jan. 26
060170 - At 2:33 a.m., police were dispatched to a Lockmiller apartment for a possible domestic dispute.
Police officers reported that a man had come to the apartment to fight the occupant because the occupant had been seeing the man's girlfriend. The man was told not to return to UTC.
060174 - A student returned to her car in lot 40 to find a small amount of paint damage to her rear bumper. The officer concluded that someone could have backed up and made contact with the bumper.
060175 - Police responded to a complaint that man was in the dressing room of Gretchen Wilson at 3:30 p.m., hours before her concert was supposed to begin. McKenzie Arena security had asked the man to leave, but he said he was intoxicated and then refused to leave. Arena security said the man had tried to gain access to Wilson's dressing room at other concerts as well.
