Monday, Sept. 6
041332 - Police responded to a smoke detector going off at UTC Place 2000 Building. The cause of the alarm was burnt bread.

041334 - Police reported the smell of burnt hot dogs after answering this smoke detector call at the Boiling Apartments.
Monday, Sept. 6
041335 - Police reported that a student received a harassing phone call from a recent ex-boyfriend. The suspect left an message on the student's voice mail stating that he would get his sister to beat her up. He reportedly also told the student that she should watch her back. The sister of the ex-boyfriend also called the student threatening her with bodily harm. No arrest have been made.
Tuesday, Sept. 7
041337 - Police responded to a hit and run with injury call. A student reported as she was attempting to walk the crosswalk on Douglas Street a black pick-up truck struck her and knocked her to the ground. The student's left leg was hurt in the incident. She was transported to Erlanger.
Wednesday, Sept. 8
041344 - Police reported an accident. A student was hit by an oncoming car on the right leg as she stepped from behind her Nissan Pathfinder. The student was not hurt. The car was traveling at a low rate of speed.

041346 - Police were called to University Street on a report of burglary. Police reported that a $40 duffle bag and a VHS tape, entitled "Down Periscope" worth $8.99 was taken from a student's apartment. No arrests have been made.

041352 - Police reported that a student hurt her knee while she was walking down some steps. The student was put into a cruiser and taken to her apartment.
Thursday, Sept. 9
041355 - Police arrested a man on criminal trespassing charges. This man had been given a trespassing warning on August 27. He was found again on UTC property and taken to jail.

041356 - Police reported a student's property taken from her bedroom. The student said she had been awaken out of her sleep at 6:30 p.m. when her room-mate and some friends came into the apartment. The student then fell asleep again but was awaken minutes later when she noticed an unknown party running from her bedroom into the bathroom. Thinking nothing of the incidence, the victim went back to sleep but later noticed that her purse was missing. One hundred and twenty dollars in cash, a driver's license, car insurance papers and two gift cards were in the purse when it was snatched. No arrests have been made.
Friday, Sept. 10
041362 - Police arrested a student and his friend on marijuana charges at UTC Place. The illegal substance was found in the student's bedroom beside a scale. The student was arrested and taken to Hamilton County Jail. His friend was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.
