As yet another hurricane rolls into the U.S. and we anxiously await its consequences, one cannot help but to mull over the global warming "theory" as some consider it and the visible effects taking place on our planet. However, for those among us who are not blind to rising temperatures, an increasing list of endangered species and erratic weather conditions, one Web site is on our side to proactively promote the campaign to combat global warming.

Stopglobalwarming.org provides a variety of information about global warming and its consequences.

There are some daunting repercussions that are usually overlooked in the typical global warming banter. The Web site addresses in great detail not only the environmental destruction and rapidly changing weather patterns, but also other surprising consequences, like health risks including Malaria and Dengue Fever.

For most Americans, these seemingly drastic consequences are the stuff of Hollywood, but if we do not act quickly and tactfully, they can easily become a reality.

The Web site also offers a breadth of information about various aspects of global warming, from trivia information about car emissions to undeniable information about the rapidity with which the glaciers are melting.

Plus, as uncool as it may seem to hound friends and family about environmental concerns, the site also offers trendy globe-friendly gear that makes a statement, in more ways than one, about preventing global warming by reducing pollution and waste.

Global warming is a serious issue and it's time we promote the urgency of addressing it before it's too late.
